2006 Portfolio Review
In April 2006, Agenda 2020 partnered with DOE's Industrial
Technology Program (ITP) to conduct a joint peer review of
ITP-funded projects for the forest products industry.
Agenda 2020 has adopted a new portfolio review process to
incorporate the stage -gate process approved by the CEO Agenda
2020 Oversight Committee in 2005. The process features a stage-gate
review of projects co-funded with key federal partners, such
as the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and U.S. Department
of Agriculture's Forest Service. The recently completed forest
products roadmap (download
now) has been used as a reference to develop the
criteria for this assessment. The results of the stage gate
review are used by the CTO Committee to make an assessment
technology transfer potential and communicate portfolio value
to key stakeholders.
